Description

Ideal for shared bedrooms and sleepovers, the Josie pine bunk bed is all about simple style and sturdy design. Made of solid wood with wooden slats and a fixed ladder, this bunk bed offers great value with a look your kids will love.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat Josie single bunk, especially for its natural pine finish, which brings warmth and a timeless appeal to any child's room. It works well in both traditional and scandi-inspired interiors, thanks to its simple clean lines and Scandinavian-style aesthetic. Practical styling tips include adding colourful cushions or cosy throws at the top bunk to personalise the space, and using neutral bedding on the bottom to keep the room feeling light and airy. This bunk is also versatile for co-ordinating with other wooden furniture, making it a great, flexible choice for creating a fun yet cohesive bedroom for children.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
