Description

There's something naturally inviting about Jericho. Elevate your interior decor with our wooden side table. Crafted entirely from solid mango, so you know it's hardwearing with a beautiful grain. A great spot to pop your skinny latte. A slated base adds to the eclectic design. We're in love. Are you?

Our Stylist Says

I love this side table’s natural, minimalist design - it adds warmth and texture without overpowering a room. The Jericho side table works well in both contemporary and Scandi-inspired interiors, thanks to its clean lines and natural timber finish. For styling, I recommend layering it with a small plant or a stack of books to create a relaxed, inviting vignette. It’s practical as a bedside table or for placing next to a sofa, offering handy surface space while maintaining a light and airy vibe. The slatted design adds visual interest, making it a versatile piece that bridges functionality with aesthetic appeal.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
