Description

The Jackson is a perfect mix of art deco charm and mid-century modern clean lines. Crafted from soft velvet fabric with a smooth texture, available in a choice of colours to fit in any home. High solid wood feet and additional scatter cushions for extra comfort. Engineered with everyday comfort in mind. Fixed fibre filled back cushions and fixed pocket seat cushions wrapped with dacron. Plump the cushions regularly to keep your sofa look great. Make the most of your space with a choice of sofa sizes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this piece because of its bold, sophisticated look and versatile black velvet upholstery, which adds a touch of luxury without overwhelming the space. It works well in modern, contemporary, and even eclectic interiors, especially when paired with textured cushions or metallic accents to soften its sleek silhouette. Practical styling tips include layering with soft throws or colourful cushions to create a cosy, lived-in feel, while keeping the surrounding décor minimal to let the statement piece shine. Its compact size also makes it ideal for smaller living rooms or as an accent in larger spaces, providing both style and comfort without taking up too much room.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
