Description

Handmade and hand finished in Vietnam, the Hinata blue speckled earthenware vase is a clean-lined design that showcases a high gloss finish with grey speckled accents. Decorative enough to look attractive on its own or filled with a large bouquet of flowers, the vase will make a striking centrepiece to a console table or side table. Made from earthenware, we recommend using a coaster or mat underneath the vase to protect your surfaces. Size H26,. Diameter 15cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this blue speckled vase for its understated yet interesting design. Its soft hue and speckled texture make it a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and more eclectic interiors. It’s ideal for adding subtle colour without overpowering a space. For styling, try pairing it with simple foliage or dried stems for a natural feel, and place it in a shelf vignette or on a side table to add visual interest. It’s also practical as it can support a few fresh blooms or greenery, making it both decorative and functional. Overall, this vase is great for adding a touch of understated character to a variety of rooms, from kitchens and living spaces to bedrooms.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
