Description
With clean lines and sumptuous proportions, it's no surprise our Hendricks sofa is a bestseller. Inspired by mid-century design and created in the Habitat design studio, Hendricks offers the upmost comfort with its low, wide arms and deep feather and fibre cushions for a casual, low-set seat. Finished stylishly with button detailing on the cushions. Made in Italy, this sofa is upholstered in our most luxurious velvet - this fabric fabric has a deep pile so is extremely soft to touch while also being hardwearing.
Our Stylist Says
I love this pink velvet sofa because it adds a pop of colour and a touch of luxe to any living space. Its Dusty Rose shade is versatile enough to work in both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors, especially when paired with crisp whites, muted tones, or even contrasting darker shades for a bold look. For styling, consider adding textured cushions or throws in complementary colours to enhance its cosy appeal. It works particularly well in spaces that aim for a relaxed yet polished vibe, like urban flats or modern farmhouses. Keep the surrounding decor simple to let the sofa truly shine, and add a few natural elements like wood or greenery for a balanced, inviting atmosphere.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
