Description
Sit back and relax while we talk you through our Hendricks sofa. I know what you're thinking, and yes, it really is as comfortable as it looks. Inspired by Mid-Century design, we created it in our very own Habitat design studio. Its linen-look teal fabric was chosen to pop. Busy household? Don't worry, we've made sure the fabric's hardwearing but still soft and comfy.
Our Stylist Says
The Habitat Hendricks 3 Seater in teal is a versatile statement piece that works well in both modern and retro-inspired interiors. I love its bold colour punch, which can instantly brighten up a neutral scheme or complement other colourful accents. The clean lines and subtle tufting give it a contemporary look, while its cosy proportions make it practical for everyday use. To style around it, consider pairing with patterned cushions or textured throws in complementary shades for added visual interest. It's also quite adaptable, looking great in both minimalist spaces and eclectic setups - just keep the surrounding decor simple if you want the sofa to really stand out. This piece is both functional and visually appealing, making it a great investment for anyone looking to add a pop of colour and comfort to their living room.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
