Description

This chunky bunk bed is made with hardwearing solid wood. The thick rails and slats help give it a sturdy finish and, best of all, it can be separated and used as 2 individual beds too. We've made sure the ground clearance is the same on both beds so if you use them separately, they'll look identical. Fitting holes are also plugged when you separate them so you'll still have the same high quality finish.

Our Stylist Says

I love the simplicity and durability of this bunk, making it ideal for both kids’ bedrooms and guest spaces. Its white and pine finish brings a clean, neutral look that adapts well to various interiors - from scandi-inspired schemes to more traditional setups. To style it effectively, consider adding colourful or patterned bedding to create visual interest, and incorporate soft accessories like cushions or throws to soften its sturdy frame. Placing a striped or geometric rug underneath can also help anchor the space and add a touch of personality. Practically, it’s the kind of piece that works well in bedrooms where space is limited but functionality is key, making it a versatile and practical choice for busy households.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
