Description

This chunky bunk bed is made with hardwearing solid pine and MDF and has a modern, grey painted finish. Super sturdy, it comes with thick rails and slats. And best of all it can be separated and used as 2 individual beds! We've made sure the ground clearance is the same on both beds so they'll look identical if you use them separately. And fitting holes come with plugs so you can still enjoy the same high quality finish. The headboards come ready assembled.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bunk bed set as it's practical and sturdy, making it perfect for active kids or shared rooms. Its neutral grey finish offers versatility, allowing it to slot seamlessly into various interior styles, from modern and minimalist to more playful or nautical themes. For styling, consider layering colourful textiles and playful accessories on the beds to add character without overwhelming the space. Practical tips include using under-bed storage containers or drawers for organising toys and clothing, maintaining clutter-free floors. It works well in rooms with a mix of bright or pastel colour schemes, acting as a durable focal point while leaving room for personalisation through cushions, fairy lights, or wall art.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
