Description

Natural, neutral and groovy! We love the skilfully carved grooves in the stunning pine doors of this unique coffee table. Surely inspired by nature and the natural world. The look is designer, without the price tag. There's a nod to Skandi style in the tapered legs but the table would sit beautifully with most country or modern decors. Simply push the doors at the side of the table to reveal two generous cupboards. Perfect for tidying away newspapers and magazines so there's space for tea and coffee. Sugar anyone?

Our Stylist Says

I love this coffee table for its clean, understated design and the natural warmth it brings to a room. The grooved detailing adds subtle visual interest without overwhelming the space, making it versatile across a variety of interiors-from Scandi-inspired minimalism to more rustic or coastal styles. As a stylist, I’d recommend pairing it with soft textiles and layered accessories to soften its solid presence. Practical tips include using it as a focal point in a neutral living area, and adding trays or decorative bowls on top to make it functional and visually appealing. Its size and simple design make it a great base for both casual gatherings and everyday use.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
