Created in the Habitat design studio, the Gingko black and white metal coffee table is a design statement piece. Combining sharp edges with sleek lines, this coffee table will lend style to your space and provides the perfect spot for magazines and TV remotes. Handmade and handfinished by skilled craftsmen in India, this table is made from galvanised iron sheets and finished with a hand painted splatter effect. Due to the nature of the design, each table is unique and when a splatter effect looks this good, you won’t mind it being the centre of attention in your living room. Part of the Gingko range, a complementary side table is also available.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
