Description

Monochrome and rather a la mode. Our black and white geometric throw is a real slice of style. Woven using the intricate jacquard technique, those quirky semi-circular patterns bring a fun, retro feel to your space. Movie night or a spot of alfresco dining? Throw this over your shoulders to stay warm and cosy. That's a wrap.

Our Stylist Says

I've always liked the Habitat Geo Woven Throw because of its striking monochrome pattern - it’s versatile enough to elevate both modern and Scandinavian interiors. The black and white colour palette makes it easy to layer over sofas or beds without overwhelming the space, while the woven texture adds subtle depth. It works particularly well in minimalist, monochrome, or eclectic settings, where it can introduce visual interest without clashing. For styling tips, try draping it casually over a sofa arm or folding it neatly at the end of a bed for a relaxed, yet polished look. It’s also practical for cosy evenings, offering warmth and style in one simple piece.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
