One of our best-selling styles, this hand-woven rug is made of 100% wool, giving it a thick pile with a luxuriously soft yet durable texture. Complementing both neutral and more colourful design schemes, this Flokati style rug has a cream coloured, undyed wool base so each piece may vary slightly in finish due to the nature of the material. About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
