Description

Made in Italy, the Fenner range has slender cushioned arms and soft, feather-wrapped fibre seat and back cushions. The sumptuous sofa combines a classic box frame with loose covers for a softer look and has button detailing on its cushions, which acquire a relaxed, comfortably lived-in look over time. Exclusive to Habitat, the sofa's deep seat and thin frame create a large seating area; available in a choice of fabrics, colours, sizes and configurations, the design offers luxe for less.

Our Stylist Says

I love this armchair for its soft, dusty rose hue which adds a subtle touch of colour without overpowering a space. Its classic, slightly retro silhouette makes it highly versatile, working well in both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors. The plush velvet upholstery invites relaxation, and pairing it with neutral or muted tones will allow the colour to soften the overall look. For styling, consider placing it in a cosy corner with textured throws or layered with patterned cushions to create an inviting nook. Practical tip: its mid-height back makes it ideal for smaller rooms or apartments, where space is limited but style is still a priority.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
