Description

Throw in a luxe layer. Genuinely as soft as real Shearling wool but 100% faux. This is an easy way to add a luxurious home comfort to your life. And why not? Inviting and soft with gorgeous green looks, our snuggly throw is a warm and cosy accessory for your room. Artisan meets country meets penthouse. A flexible fleece. Not intended for use on upholstery products and keep away from fire.

Our Stylist Says

I love this faux shearling throw for its cosy, inviting texture and rich green hue, which makes it a versatile accent in both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well layered on sofas or draped over a bed to add warmth and a tactile element. For styling, try pairing it with neutral textiles to let the colour pop or mix with other earthy tones for a layered, laid-back look. Its generous size makes it practical for snuggling up on chilly evenings, and because it's faux shearling, it’s easy to care for and suitable for a wide range of interiors, from Scandi minimalism to cosy rustic schemes.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
