Description

Stop those sneaky cold draughts in their tracks. This long, thick faux shearling draft excluder is great for blocking gaps under doors or along the bottom of windows. Simple but effective. Polyester. H10, W90, D20cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this faux shearling draught excluder for its cosy, tactile appeal and its versatility. Its neutral oatmeal tone works particularly well in Scandi-inspired interiors, or to soften the look of more traditional or rustic schemes. It’s ideal for adding warmth to rooms with neutral or pastel palettes, and it can be styled alongside textured textiles like knits and linen for a layered, inviting feel. Practical tips include placing it under exterior doors to prevent drafts, but it also works as a stylish accent on furniture or as a tactile feature in your hallway. Its plush texture adds a touch of comfort without overwhelming the space, making it both functional and decorative.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
