Description

An original Habitat design, this wardrobe is crafted from solid oak and oak veneer to give the design an elegant look and is finished with accent white marble and gold handles that add detail to the design. With a small footprint, this wardrobe offers a spacious interior with a solid oak hanging rail and a bottom drawer for folded clothes, as well as generous shelf space inside. Made in Europe, pair with the Etta bedroom range for a streamlined look. Complementary dining and living room furniture is also available in the collection.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wardrobe for its clean, minimal design and natural oak finish, making it a versatile piece that suits both modern and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in bedrooms with light, neutral palettes or in spaces where you want to add warmth and texture. Practical styling tips include pairing it with soft, tactile bedding or a cozy rug to create a welcoming vibe, and accessorising its top with a few simple decorative items like a vase or small sculpture to maximise its visual appeal. Its compact size also makes it a great choice for smaller bedrooms or multi-functional spaces, offering ample storage without overpowering the room’s layout.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
