Description

Naturally warm style for your outdoor space. Settle into our Erin chair and relax. Crafted from natural rattan it's designed to keep its classic good looks whatever the weather. The curved back and open weave design brings a timeless tropical touch. Strong, yet light to move you can position this chair so you get just the right spot. Grab some me time and enjoy the air. Sunshine or showers, Erin can handle both. Add an outdoor cushion or two for cosy comfort.

Our Stylist Says

I love this garden chair’s natural rattan effect, which makes it a versatile choice for both contemporary and traditional outdoor settings. Its airy, rounded silhouette and neutral tone work well in relaxed, coastal-inspired gardens or covered patios with a neutral colour palette. It’s a great option for layering with cushions or throws to add comfort and a personalised touch. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a small side table for outdoor tea or a cosy corner with other rattan or wooden furniture to create an inviting outdoor lounge. Its natural finish means it also integrates effortlessly into indoor or semi-indoor spaces, like sunrooms or conservatories, offering a seamless transition from inside to outside.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
