Luxe lounging at its best. What could be more inviting than our elegant Emerson 3-seater velvet sofa. Stretch out in the powered reclining seats and snuggle back into the plump comfy cushions. So relaxing. We love the tapered wooden legs and paired back design that gives this art deco inspired sofa a modern twist. At 194cm wide, there's bags of room for 3 to sit in comfort. Want to go all out maximalist? Style your sultry sofa with bold plant print wallpaper and rose gold accessories. How dramatic, how divine.
Our Stylist Says
The Habitat Emerson 3-seater is a great choice for adding a pop of colour and texture to both modern and vintage-inspired interiors. I love its rich navy velvet finish, which pairs beautifully with metallic accents or soft neutrals, making it versatile for a variety of colour schemes. The recliner feature adds a practical touch, offering extra comfort for relaxed living spaces like a cosy lounge or a contemporary open-plan setting. For styling tips, consider balancing the boldness of the velvet with layered cushions in contrasting or complementary tones, and keep the surrounding decor simple to let the sofa be its own statement piece. Practical yet stylish, it works well in both small and larger rooms, creating a welcoming and sophisticated vibe.

About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
