The slim frame of the Scandinavian inspired architectural lines are softened by the generously padded curves. Designed for relaxing. From the tall, slender arms with thick foam inside pads, to the supportive deep foam and fibre-wrapped seats and softly restful cushions. Upholstered in a velvety sheen chenille with a distinctive twin needle seam border, this is a sofa everyone will want to lounge in. Details are all important. Like the cross webbed suspension for extra support. Plus, the seats and cushions are removable to make plumping and cleaning easy. Hand made to order in the UK, Emily uses quality materials and traditional techniques for furniture that's unique to you. Available in a choice of sizes and fabrics including Aquaclean technology protection built into the yarn, which is easy to clean with just water. Part of the Emely collection. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
