Description

When it's made for you, you know you'll love it. Elegant Emely is a 2-seater sofa with a comfortably modern air. The slim frame of the Scandinavian inspired architectural lines are softened by the generously padded curves. Designed for relaxing. From the tall, slender arms with thick foam inside pads, to the supportive deep foam and fibre-wrapped seats and softly restful cushions. Upholstered in a velvety sheen chenille with a distinctive twin needle seam border, this is a sofa everyone will want to lounge in. Details are all important. Like the cross webbed suspension for extra support. Plus, the seats and cushions are removable to make plumping and cleaning easy. Hand made to order in the UK, Emily uses quality materials and traditional techniques for furniture that's unique to you. Available in a choice of sizes and fabrics including Aquaclean technology protection built into the yarn, which is easy to clean with just water. Part of the Emely collection. Our Stylist Says

I love this Emely sofa for its bold Papaya colour, which acts as a lively focal point in any living space. Its compact two-seater design makes it ideal for smaller rooms or cosy corners, while the ash legs provide a subtle touch of contrast that grounds the look. It works well in modern, eclectic, or even mid-century interiors when paired with neutral tones or complementary accents. Styling tips include adding patterned cushions in earthy or muted shades to balance the vibrant fabric, or layering with textured throws for extra comfort. It's a versatile piece that combines colour and shape with a sleek, contemporary appeal-perfect for injecting personality into your living room.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
