Description

Look at me. Give your pot plants something to shout about with our on-trend ceramic planter. Our Ombre look is bold with three dramatic bands of colour. The terracotta base contrasts with a gorgeous glossy green middle and a dramatic black top border. It's so stand-out. All you need to do is add your favourite plant (real or faux) and you've got an instant accessory to display indoors or outside. We've even added little legs for elegance and practicality. These pots look great in threes so go on, shout even louder with a trio.

Our Stylist Says

I love this planters’ contemporary ombre finish, which adds subtle colour variation and visual interest without overwhelming the space. It works especially well in modern or minimalist interiors, where its understated design can shine alongside greenery. Practical styling tips include pairing it with simple, lush foliage like ferns or succulents to enhance its colour transition, or using it as a statement piece on a shelf or console table. The slightly earthy tones make it versatile, so it can effortlessly incorporate into both neutral and more colourful schemes. Its compact size also allows for versatile placements - perfect for creating cosy corners or accenting side tables.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
