Description

Housed in a bright yellow ceramic holder, this Amalfi candle brings a little Italian sunshine into your home. Zesty, lively top notes of lemon and bergamot give way to softer, romantic notes of musk and cedar wood. And when the wax has gone, the lidded pot makes an elegant container for your bits and bobs. Amalfi scent. Paraffin wax. Approximate burn time 30 hours. Size H10, Diameter 8cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this candle for its clean, summery vibe; the Amalfi-inspired colour and simple ceramic design make it a versatile addition to many interiors. It works particularly well in coastal, Mediterranean, or modern minimal spaces where its punchy yellow adds a cheerful touch. Practical styling tip: nestle it among neutral ceramics or greenery to make the colour pop, or use it as a centrepiece on a breakfast table or sideboard for an inviting, relaxed feel. Its lidded design helps to keep the wax tidy and makes it easy to transport or store, making it as functional as it is appealing.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
