Description

A glimmer of Italian sunshine. Our Amalfi candle sits in a ceramic pot stylishly illustrated with playful, summer inspired images. The zesty, lively top notes of lemon and bergamot give way to softer, romantic touches of musk and cedar wood. Perfectly evoking the fun and romance of the Mediterranean coastline. And when the wax has gone, the empty holder earns a second life holding your bits and bobs. Amalfi scent. Paraffin wax. Approximate burn time 48 hours. Size H9.3, Diameter 8.2cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Amalfi candle for its vibrant, travel-inspired design that adds a lively touch to any space. It works particularly well in coastal or relaxed interiors, such as seaside cottages or bright, contemporary living areas. For styling, try grouping it with other coastal accessories or placing it on a wooden or glass table to highlight its colourful design. Practical tip-it's ideal as a statement piece on shelves or side tables, and its compact size makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of decor styles without overwhelming the space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
