Description

A glimmer of Italian sunshine. Our Amalfi sunset candle features a playful summer inspired decal. Enjoy its zesty scent of lemon and bergamot that give way to softer, romantic touches of musk and cedar wood. Perfect to bring a touch of the Mediterranean into your home. And when the wax has gone, pop a few pens or your toothbrush into the empty holder. Bellissimo. Amalfi scent. Paraffin wax. Approximate burn time 30 hours. Size H9, Diameter 8cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this candle for its fresh, zesty scent that evokes a clean, summery vibe, making it ideal for brightening up a space. It’s particularly versatile, working well in both modern and coastal-inspired interiors, where its citrus notes complement natural fibres and light colour palettes. For styled settings, place it on a side table or shelf with minimal decor, perhaps alongside a few coastal accessories or greenery, to enhance its relaxed feel. Practical tip: try pairing it with other Lemons and botanical elements for a cohesive, refreshing look, and consider using it in kitchens or bathrooms where its fresh scent can create a calming atmosphere.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
