Description

Made from solid oiled oak and oak veneer, this wardrobes double doors open to reveal a spacious interior with a solid oak hanging rail and full-length mirror. Raised on slim legs that give lightness to the piece, the bottom drawer is perfect for placing bedding or folded clothes in. Inspired by mid-century design, the hanging compartment and bottom shelf allows for plenty or space to store clothes, shoes and accessories.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wardrobe for its clean, timeless oak finish, which makes it a versatile piece that seamlessly fits into both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in minimalist or Scandi-inspired spaces, where the natural wood tones add warmth without cluttering the look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or pastel bed linens and accessories to keep the room feeling fresh and airy. Inside, organising with wooden or fabric storage boxes can help maximise space and maintain a tidy appearance. Overall, this wardrobe offers both style and function, making it an understated yet essential addition to any bedroom.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
