Description

A sophisticated storage solution. Our classic wooden cabinet includes solid wooden doors and smooth metal handles for a timelessly traditional look. With a slim drawer and 2 spacious cupboards, this smart piece has a place for everything. Tuck your dinnerware, drinks and cutlery neatly away. Or it's a great place to store games, DVDs and paperwork. The 2 internal shelves can be adjusted to suit your needs. Let's tidy things up.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this cabinet because of its clean, timeless oak finish, which makes it a versatile piece for a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in traditional, Scandi, or farmhouse-style spaces, adding warmth and texture without feeling bulky. To style it effectively, consider displaying everyday crockery, books, or decorative objects on top to create a welcoming focal point, while keeping the interior organised with baskets or storage boxes behind the doors. It's a practical choice for utility rooms, kitchens, or living rooms, offering both storage and style in one. Keep accessories simple and natural for a cohesive aesthetic, and don’t be afraid to add a pop of colour with textiles or accessories nearby to keep the space lively.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
