Description

If you're into easy living, you'll be into the Habitat Delilah. Our take on the goes-everywhere chair, Delilah will become your home's perfect companion. It won't be out of place in your bedroom, living room or even the kitchen. And it's all in the details - that's why we chose a great all-purpose fabric that's also soft to sit on (just look at the depth of that bottom cushion. ) We added a curved back and wooden feet for a little treat.

Our Stylist Says

This chair is a versatile pick for adding a touch of modern elegance to any room. The charcoal fabric works wonderfully in both contemporary and traditional interiors, offering a neutral hue that complements a variety of colour schemes. Its clean lines and subtle detailing make it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, or even a cosy reading nook. Practically, it's easy to pair with patterned or plain cushions to soften the look or to add visual interest. To style it successfully, consider placing it alongside a textured rug or complemented by a small side table for functionality. Its understated design ensures it won’t overpower the space, making it a smart addition to both minimalist and eclectic interiors.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
