Description

Clearly minimalist. Made entirely from toughened glass our Decora coffee table is a smart choice for a modern space. Contemporary and unfussy. The 2 wide curved legs mirror the sleek simplicity of the oval top. Barely there, yet beautifully useful, it's a functional piece that also creates a feeling of light and spaciousness in a room. A clever coffee table indeed.

Our Stylist Says

I love this glass coffee table because of its sleek, modern aesthetic that instantly brightens up a room. Its transparent design makes it a versatile piece that works well in smaller spaces, adding a sense of openness without feeling bulky. It pairs beautifully with a variety of interior styles, from contemporary to minimalist, and can be styled with books, candles, or decorative objects for a personalised touch. Practical tips include keeping the surface clear for a clean look or layering with textured trays or soft accessories for added visual interest. It’s a statement piece that combines functionality with elegance, making it a great centrepiece for any living area.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
