Description

Decadent and Art Deco inspired. Our gorgeous glass vase is the ideal statement piece for a modern scheme. Its concentric curves and deep orange hue catch the light casting soft colour around your room. Lovely by day or night. Pop in a few twisty twigs for a minimal approach or go colour crazy and fill with a riot of brilliant blooms. Not the floral type? Keep things simple and just embrace the opulent orangeness.

Our Stylist Says

I love this orange vase for its bold colour and sculptural shape, making it an eye-catching piece that can stand alone or be part of a curated arrangement. It works particularly well in modern and eclectic interiors, where its vibrant hue can add warmth and energy. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with neutral-toned flowers or greenery to let the colour pop, or position it on a console or shelf alongside metallic accents for a sophisticated contrast. Because of its striking look, it’s best showcased where it can be appreciated up close, such as on a side table or a display shelf. Practical tip: use it as a standalone decorative piece or with minimal, understated floral arrangements to keep the focus on its distinctive design.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
