Description

Pop your feet up. Our grey cord footstool is rather fancy and whole lot of fun. Featuring five soft foam layers upholstered in on-trend grey cord. Textured and tactile. It's fabulous as a leg rest in the lounge or a playful seat in the kids room. Made from durable polyester so they can kick off their shoes, let off steam and play roly poly. It'll wipe clean with a damp cloth. And chill.

Our Stylist Says

I love this grey corded footstool for its versatile and modern look. It works particularly well in contemporary, Scandinavian, or mid-century interiors, adding a subtle texture without overwhelming the space. Because of its neutral tone and soft fabric, it’s easy to pair with a range of colour palettes and textiles. Practical styling tips include placing it beside a sofa or armchair for extra comfort, or using it as a cosy side table with a tray on top. To keep the look fresh, couple it with other grey or muted-hued soft furnishings, and consider layering with patterned cushions or throws for added depth. Its compact size makes it perfect for small living areas or as an extra seat when needed.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
