Description

An insta-worthy ceramic. Our organic and tactile vase is a natural choice for your home. And there's a bunch of ways to make it look good with fresh, dried or faux florals or foliage. Made by Portugese artisans, its surface is finished with a reactive glaze in the kiln giving a textured surface that makes each piece subtly unique. With a blend of contemporary lines and traditional craftsmanship, this beauty works as a stand alone sculpture or as a centrepiece overspilling with blooms. Size H25, W23, D23cm.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little white vase for its clean, contemporary look and subtle texture. Its glazed finish gives it a refined feel, making it versatile enough to complement both modern and minimalist interiors, as well as more eclectic spaces. It works particularly well as a simple centrepiece on a coffee table or sideboard, styled with fresh or dried stems for added interest. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other neutral-toned ceramics or placing it among greenery to bring a touch of nature indoors. Its understated design allows it to work effortlessly across different colour schemes and rooms, making it a valuable addition to a variety of interiors.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
