Description
In an on-trend green hue, the Celine velvet 2 seater sofa makes a sophisticated statement. With its gentle round edges, high reclined back and sumptuous padding, the foam-filled seat cushion invites you to relax and wind down in style. This elegant and luxurious design is finished with black metal legs for a contemporary, lighter-than-air look, which makes it ideal for small spaces.
Our Stylist Says
I love this sofa for its vibrant green velvet finish-it adds a pop of colour and a touch of luxury to any space. The Celine 2 seater works really well in both modern and eclectic interiors, especially when paired with brass or natural wood accents. To style it effectively, consider layering with textured cushions or throws in neutral tones or complementary colours to balance its bold hue. It's also a versatile piece that can anchor a cosy reading nook or serve as a statement centrepiece in a contemporary living room. Keep the surrounding decor minimal or in complementary shades to let the green sofa truly stand out.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
