Description

Original designs at suprisingly affordable prices. Designed by interiors brand Habitat, the Bumble white side table is a practical storage solution for the living room or bedroom. A versatile design, this table can be used for storing magazines, books and remotes controls and there's room on top for a lamp. Part of the Bumble collection, it's available in other colours.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little side table for its clean, Scandinavian-inspired look that works brilliantly in modern or minimalist interiors. Its white finish ensures versatility, allowing it to blend seamlessly with monochrome schemes or add a fresh touch to more colourful settings. The open shelf provides convenient storage or display space for books, plants, or decorative accents, making it both functional and stylish. It's an excellent choice for placing beside a sofa or bed where a sleek, unobtrusive surface is needed. For styling tips, consider pairing it with a cosy lamp or a small tray for organising everyday items - it’s all about keeping things simple yet appealing.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
