Description

Our lilac glass bubble vase is ideal for bringing a bit of fun to your floral creations. A curvaceous modern studio piece.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bubble glass vase for its contemporary shape and subtle lilac hue, which adds a touch of softness to modern and eclectic interiors alike. It works well in minimalist settings when paired with fresh, simple stems or dried botanicals for a delicate pop of colour, and it can also be styled as a statement piece on its own. Practical tips include pairing it with a few sprigs of greenery or seasonal flowers to refresh a table or shelf, and because of its rounded shape, it’s perfect for creating centrepieces or grouping with other vases for visual interest. Its versatile colour and shape make it suitable for both everyday use and special displays in living rooms, bedrooms or even bathrooms.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
