Description

Our soft grey Brooklyn ultimate mid sleeper is made from solid pine, with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame. We're always saying how mid sleepers are great for small rooms, letting you make the most of the floor underneath, so with this one we've included furniture that's been perfectly tailored to sit in that space. It comes with a chest of drawers, a shelving unit, and a pull-out desk. Simply add a chair to create a great little work area.

Our Stylist Says

The Habitat Brooklyn Mid Sleeper is a versatile and practical choice for children's rooms, especially in contemporary or neutral interiors. I love its clean grey finish, which makes it adaptable to various colour schemes-from pastel palettes to bold accents. Its clever design maximises storage with drawers and shelves, making it perfect for keeping toys, books, and clothes organised without clutter. Styling tips include adding colourful cushions and a playful desk lamp to personalise the space, while incorporating soft, layered textiles creates a cosy vibe. It works well in modern, minimalist rooms but can also be paired with more eclectic decor for a fun, functional children’s space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
