Description

Our Brooklyn ultimate mid sleeper is made from solid pine, with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame. We're always saying how mid sleepers are great for small rooms, letting you make the most of the floor underneath, so with this one weve included furniture that's been perfectly tailored to sit in that space. It comes with a chest of drawers, a shelving unit, and a pull out desk. Simply add a chair to create a great little work area.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Habitat Brooklyn mid sleeper for its clean, timeless design that suits a variety of interior styles-from Scandi-inspired nurseries to more playful, colourful kids’ rooms. It works especially well in rooms where space is at a premium, as it offers ample storage underneath, making organise clutter easier. Practical styling tips include incorporating colourful bedding and cushions to add personality, while keeping accessories minimal to maintain a calm and uncluttered look. Pairing it with striped or patterned curtains and wall art can also inject some fun without overwhelming the space, making it a versatile choice that grows well as your child’s style evolves.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
