Description

Our Brooklyn mid sleeper bed is made from solid pine, with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame. There's a fixed ladder for easy access which can be placed at either end of the bed so you can make sure it suits the layout of your room. Mid sleepers like this are perfect for smaller bedrooms so you can reclaim the space underneath for a chest of drawers, a little reading space, or maybe a den!

Our Stylist Says

The Brooklyn mid sleeper is a practical and versatile choice for any child's room, especially when you want to make the most of limited space. I love its clean white finish, which works well in both modern and traditional interiors, and provides a neutral backdrop for colourful bedding and accessories. It’s great for creating a cosy yet functional zone-by adding under-bed storage or a reading nook, you can personalise it to suit your child's needs. Styling tips include pairing it with light wood or pastel accents to soften the look, and using fun, vibrant textiles to add personality. This bed is especially good in a playful, contemporary space but can also be integrated into eclectic or Scandi-inspired rooms with the right accessories.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
