Description

Our Brooklyn high sleeper bed is made from solid pine, with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame. There's a fixed ladder for easy access which can be placed at either end of the bed so you can make sure it suits the layout of your room. It has safe, high sides and a classic look that'll suit them for years. High sleepers are perfect for smaller rooms, so you can reclaim the space underneath for a desk, drawers, or maybe a den!

Our Stylist Says

I love this bed frame for its sleek, minimalist design and versatile grey colour, which makes it easy to integrate into a variety of child's room interiors-from Scandi-inspired schemes to contemporary or even eclectic spaces. Its high sleeper format maximises floor space, making it ideal for smaller rooms or multi-purpose areas, such as study zones underneath. Styling tips include adding colourful cushions and playful accessories to soften the grey, or pairing with patterned wallpaper or bright bed linen to create a lively atmosphere. Practical elements like its sturdy build and ladder also ensure safety and longevity, making it a smart choice for busy households.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
