Description

Seat yourself in a burst of sunshine. Sink into our sumptuous and curvy Brixley sofa. Crafted in bright mustard yellow, it's bang on trend. There's plenty of room for 3. Comfort and ease were the key factors in its creation. So, we've made the seat and back cushions super plump. Simply flip the reversible cushions over every few weeks to keep it looking and feeling fresh, bouncy and new. Sofas need to last, so this one's been made in durable polyester. Just give spills a quick wipe with a damp cloth.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sunny yellow sofa for bringing a splash of colour and personality into both modern and eclectic interiors. Its clean lines and compact three-seater design make it versatile enough for open-plan living or smaller spaces. The fabric feels inviting and easy to maintain, which is ideal for daily use. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral or pastel accessories to let the sofa be the focal point, and add textured cushions or throws for extra comfort. It works particularly well in lively, contemporary schemes or as a statement piece in more muted, minimalist spaces, creating a cheerful and welcoming vibe.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
