Description

Inspired by Moroccan designs, the Berber cream zig zag wool 50 x 50cm cushion will add warmth to a room whilst creating a striking focal point. Created in the Habitat design studio and made in India from 100% wool, it will complement both neutral and vibrant design schemes. This cushion comes with a soft pad for extra comfort and the design is also available in various sized rugs.

Our Stylist Says

I love this shaggy, patterned cushion for adding texture and visual interest to both contemporary and bohemian interiors. Its geometric zig-zag design in soft cream with black detail makes it versatile enough to work in neutral schemes, or as a statement piece in more vibrant settings. It’s perfect for use on sofas, beds, or window seats, where it can enhance a relaxed, cosy vibe. Practical styling tips include layering it with other textured cushions for a curated look, or pairing it with plain covers to let its pattern stand out. Due to its size and plush texture, it’s a great choice for bringing comfort and a touch of visual intrigue to everyday spaces.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
