Description

Display your way with our terracotta bowl. Designed in house and crafted in Portugal, its natural tone and beaded embossed detail add to its organic character. Keep it beautifully bare. Or create your own aesthetic by adding dried florals, faux fruit, or seasonal decs like pinecones. Size H10.5, Diameter 45cm.

Our Stylist Says

This terracotta bowl is a versatile piece that works particularly well in relaxed, boho, or Mediterranean-inspired interiors. I love how its natural orange hue and textured detailing add warmth and visual interest, making it more than just a vase-it's a statement piece. It’s great for styling with fresh or dried botanicals, or even on its own as a decorative tray for candles or small accents. For practical tips, consider pairing it with neutral-toned ceramics or woven textiles to let its earthy charm stand out, and place it at eye level on a side table or shelf to make the most of its tactile and colour qualities.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
