Description

Sit up for breakfast in bed. Lean on the padded, buttoned headboard of Aspen - with matching covered frame, ahh that's nice. A low foot end means you can tuck in covers neatly, or let your duvet or cover trail over the end - your bed, your look. Perched on tapered wooden legs with a sprung slatted base for good mattress ventilation. Aspen comes in an all over light grey fabric with a subtle woven texture and clean stitch detailing - looks good with Scandi and Mid Century modern themes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bed frame for its clean, minimalist design, making it a versatile choice that works well across a range of interior styles, from Scandi to contemporary. The soft grey upholstery adds a touch of understated elegance while keeping the look neutral enough to pair with colourful or textured bedding. It’s perfect for creating a serene retreat in both small and spacious bedrooms. Practical styling tips include layering with cosy throws and cushions for added comfort, or positioning it against a feature wall with artwork or wall shelving to personalise the space. The tapered wooden legs introduce a subtle warmth that helps balance the modern aesthetic, making this a practical yet stylish addition to any bedroom scheme.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
