Description

Made in Italy, the Ariano maple wood round wall mirror is a pared-back design with a slender veneer frame in the delicately grained wood. The elegant and timeless Ariano mirror is exclusive to Habitat. The mirror sits 1cm from the wall and the width of the frame is 3.5cm.

Our Stylist Says

This round wall mirror is a versatile piece that adds a touch of warmth and natural texture to any space. I love it for its soft maple veneer frame, which pairs well with both modern and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. It works particularly well in living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways, where it can serve as both a functional mirror and a decorative element. For styling tips, consider placing it above a console table or alongside other natural materials like wood or woven textures to create a cohesive look. Its clean, rounded shape also makes it an excellent choice for smaller spaces, helping to enhance light and give the illusion of a larger room.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
