From our in-house senior designer James Cottingham, the personality-packed Trac armchair draws inspiration from 1970s Habitat upholstery, innovative manufacturing methods and diverse materials. With arms that continue to the floor the seat appears to look like its floating. Rounded, inflated forms, chunky piping details and a generous seat depth offer comfort. Upholstered in a speckled and textured boucle-like fabric. Also available as a 2 and 3 seater sofa. Each sold separately. About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
