Planq is led by Anton and Dennis Teeuw, a forward-thinking design duo that specialise in the exploration of innovative materials and technologies. Their family of tables for Habitat's 60th anniversary collection have been constructed using a material made from textile waste called Rezign that has been developed by Planq, and invigorated by accents of colour from 1960s Habitat collections. Part of the specially commissioned collection in celebration of Habitat's 60 years of British design. Part of the Habitat 60 collection. Size H 60, W 32, D 32cm. Made from denim and powder coated steel with a marble effect finish. Weight 5.5kg. Fully assembled. General information: Manufacturer's 2 year guarantee. About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
