Designed in-house by Will Hudson, an accomplished industrial designer, the Lattice chair exemplifies his commitment to reductive and honest design principles. Drawing from his love of Sheffield heritage, it pairs cool steel lattice work with bright circles of white textured upholstery, surrounding the user in a protective embrace. Inspired by the futuristic aesthetics of the 80s, the Lattice chair offers a striking seating experience, blending retro-inspired design with modern comfort. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
