First launched 20 years ago, the Hana wide chest of drawers is crafted using FSC solid oak and oak veneer. With dovetail joints and smooth opening actions on all the drawers, it oozes quality and provenance. Balanced, clean, iconic. Part of the specially commissioned collection in celebration of Habitat's 60 years of British design. Part of the Habitat 60 collection. Made of oak and oak veneer. 9 drawers. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
