The soft folded single piece of brushed golden metal, with punctured slots for bottles, is a testament to his commitment to reductive and honest design principles. The Habitat 60 Gold Edit has been specially commissioned in celebration of Habitat's 60 years of British design. About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
