Returning to Habitat with this exclusive UFO-shaped design, Sebastian Conran's Ellipse ceiling light blends heritage with future, projecting patterns onto the ceiling while the light source remains hidden from sight. With an adjustable cable length, it can be used over a dining table, workspace or to provide ambient light. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
