Inspired by the paper shades of previous Habitat years, D'arby Mawson has created this lightweight Cirro shade from our in-house Habitat design studio. Playfully evocative of summer clouds, its soft inflated curves give the impression of floating. Place in a living room or bedroom for a gentle, warm glow and cosy atmosphere. The perfect complement to a neutral palette, this easy to fit lamp shade requires minimal assembly. Part of the specially commissioned collection in celebration of Habitat's 60 years of British design. Suitable for ES/BC/SES ceiling pendants only. Part of the Habitat 60 collection. Made from paper. About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
